Lakeside Farm is a beautiful 440 acre historic farm in Putnam Station, NY; perfectly situated on the western shore of Lake Champlain, just east of Lake George, NY. We are dedicated to sustainable farming techniques and methods that cause the least disturbance to local ecosystems.

We farm approximately 100 acres in traditional grass-fed agricultural products and maintain the remainder of our farm as a private wilderness.

Our multi-purpose farm guradian, 2021 Saint Shepherd, Winslow, is the sire of our 2023 and 2024 litters. Sadly, he was lost due to the complications of a traumatic brain injury. He was a loyal, attentive working dog for all-purpose shepherding and draft work.

Grassfed Organic Dairy Beef
Our beef is 100% grassfed, no concentrates or gmo-grains ever, our pastures are sustainably kept, mowed once/year and never sprayed with chemicals. The steers graze grass all summer and consume bale after bale of our homegrown organic mixed grass and clover hay from early-Autumn until late-spring.
We offer only a handful of delicious, humanely-treated, sustainably cared for young steers per year....
